Commemorative T-Shirt Fundraiser Announced

With the announcement of the 2016 Fundraiser, the Club will sponsor/host a variety of smaller fundraising projects, with those proceeds being donated to the Foundation's Garden of Roses Fundraising Event. These smaller fundraising projects give our members, as well as local business owners/restaurants, an opportunity

The first of our mini-fundraising projects this year will be a commemorative T-shirt! GKWC members had the opportunity to design and vote on a t-shirt representing the 2016 theme of  "Roses & Pearls Champagne Brunch & Auction".  The winning T-shirt (shown here) was designed by GKWC members Dottie Johnson and her daughter Heather Smith. Shirts will be available at the first Planning Committee Meeting or you may contact Beth Murray or Kimberley Vines to pre-order. The cost is $20 each plus tax payable to GKWC Foundation.

Welcome to the GKWC Garden of Roses Fundraiser Blog

Welcome to the new blog for the annual GKWC Garden of Roses Fundraiser. Our goal is to provide a deeper understanding of the purpose of the annual fundraiser, along with the underlying history behind the women's club itself, our goals for the future of the club and our impact on Keller and the surrounding community.

The Greater Keller Women's Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is the funding arm for the Greater Keller Women's Club. Since it's inception, the Foundation, through the support and volunteerism by members of the Greater Keller Women's Club, has donated more than ONE MILLION dollars to local non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations representing women, children and the elderly within the Northeast Tarrant County area through a grant application and review process, as well as scholarships to graduating Keller ISD seniors.

The annual Garden of Roses fundraiser is the primary source of funding for these grants and scholarships and would not be possible without the sponsorships and donations from individuals and area businesses from Keller, Tarrant County and beyond. GKWC's motto of "Joining Together, Having Fun, and Helping Others" shines through each year as a dedicated group of volunteers with philanthropic hearts for service to the community donate countless hours to host this annual event.

The 2016 fundraiser will be the "Garden of Roses: Roses & Pearls Champagne Brunch & Auction", which will be held in the spring at Texas Motor Speedway (Date TBD). For more information about how you can help local Northeast Tarrant County Charities and graduating Keller ISD students with a sponsorship or a donation to the annual Garden of Roses Fundraiser, please contact us at GardenOfRosesChair@gkwc.org. All donations are tax-deductible.
